The Community Empowerment for Peace and Health Initiative (CEPI) is a youth, women and community development focused non-profit, non-governmental organization which uses multi-dimensional approaches to implement reproductive health and development programmes among adolescents, young people and women. It was founded in 2000 to carry out research and intervention programmes in the following areas; Health and Rights Issues, HIV/AIDS/STIs, substance abuse prevention and control, care and support for people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS, youth development, Skill acquisition, Economic Empowerment and Peace building. This will do through collaboration with local and international agencies promoting health and Reproductive Rights
